Jeremy is the President and founder of Research-Aid Networks and an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Virology at the University of Kent. As a virologist with a PhD in Emerging Infectious Diseases, Jeremy conducts collaborative interdisciplinary research on pandemic-causing viruses (with a current focus on Long Covid), international epidemic responses, evidence-based humanitarian aid and science communication.
In 2019 Jeremy founded Research-Aid Networks to help connect researchers, aid organizations and local community groups with the goal of improving communication and collaboration during crisis responses.
He is a vocal advocate for COVID-19 safety measures and for increased recognition of, support for and research into Long Covid.
